Local Walmart and Sam’s Club Associates, Customers and Members Raise $106,000 for Stormont Vail Health

Walmart and Sam’s Club associates, customers and members in Eastern Kansas put their money where the miracles are during the annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising campaign.

The local Walmart and Sam’s Club locations raised over $106,000 for Stormont Vail Health. The effort was part of a national campaign for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Donations poured in June 10 through July 7, as Walmart and Sam’s Club associates held various in-store fundraising activities and asked customers and members at the register to help kids live better. Check out photos from the campaign!

Stormont Vail Health employees helped with the campaign as secret shoppers, giving out buttons when an associate asked them to give.

Walmart and Sam’s Club funds impact each of the 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which treat one in 10 children across North America. Hospitals use the funds based on what they need most — providing lifesaving equipment and research, supporting top therapy programs and providing charitable care.

Thank you Walmart and Sam’s Club associates, as well as all Stormont volunteers for volunteering during the campaign!
