First time parents choose Stormont Vail Health
Meet new parents Alyssa and Phill, who chose Stormont Vail Health as the welcoming place for their daughter Devin Juliana to join the world, on February 17, 2024. The following is their family’s account of their experience receiving services at Stormont Vail and the Lincoln Center as well as the Breastfeeding Clinic, which is one of the programs is that is able to benefit from Children’s Miracle Networks funds.

Alyssa and Phill: “We enjoyed our experience with Dr. Kieffer at Lincoln Center OBGYN. The staff have always made us feel welcome, and Dr. Kieffer did an excellent job making us feel comfortable as we are first time parents. Dr. Kieffer and the staff always made us feel comfortable, even when asking uncomfortable questions. Dr. Kieffer supported our birth plan, and even when things didn’t go as planned, they never made us feel pressured. We would forever recommend Lincoln Center OBGYN.”

“Our family has also been very grateful for the Breastfeeding Center. The nurses at the center are always helpful and welcoming. The Breastfeeding Clinic was able to help monitor Devin’s jaundice levels, helping with specific breastfeeding questions as well as helping Alyssa’s post-partum depression concerns. Every time we went to the Breastfeeding Center, the staff there remembered Devin, and small details about her and our family. The Breastfeeding Center was the place we turned to, when we were concerned about a potential lip tie. This Center was a place where we were able to learn about lip and tongue ties, and what our options were.”
“Our is family is continuing to thrive and Devin is an amazing little girl, she has a love for animals, music and books. She enjoys being outside, and spending time with her cousins.”
