Walmart’s 2024 Campaign Raises $152,859 for Stormont Vail Health

In 2024, the collaborative efforts of the Northeast Kansas Walmart Supercenters, Sam’s Club, and Fulfillment Center was able to make a significant difference for the Stormont Vail Health, Children’s Miracle Network. Together, they raised a record breaking $152,859, a 28% improvement from the previous year, truly showcasing the power of community support. The funds will directly benefit the children’s programs at the hospital, which includes lifesaving equipment to top therapy programs, and charitable care initiatives.

The ethos of teamwork and unity, as emphasized by Walmart founder Sam Walton, who often liked to say: “We’re all working together; that’s the secret”, rings true in this endeavor as well. It highlights how collective action can bring about substantial changes within the local communities, illustrating the profound impact of individuals coming together for a common cause.
